Delivered:” is a series in which we look at crowdfunded ideas that have successfully shipped to their supporters. We dive into the final product, after its long journey from concept to fulfillment.

We all know biking is a great way to commute. I can stay fit while reducing my carbon footprint and I don't have to wait on bus or train schedules. However, biking on busy roads can be dangerous, especially during early morning or late night commutes when visibility isn't great. Even with reflective gear, drivers still can't see bikers in their blindspots. That's why the team at Beryl created the Laserlight Core, a projection bike light that helps drivers be aware of bikers nearby, even when they can't see them.

The Laserlight Core is so simple yet innovative. With the press of a button, I can project the image of a bike up to 6 meters ahead so that drivers know when I'm in their blindspot. The battery is rechargeable with a standard micro USB and has an indicator to let me know when the battery is running low so I'm never caught unprepared. I can also set it to different modes to conserve battery on longer rides.

I especially like the mount for the light. It comes with two sizes of silicone brackets that wrap tightly around the handle bars without having to use any tools. It has a strong grip, too, so I never have to worry about it slipping. And if you're like me and live in a climate where you experience a lot of wet weather, it's also waterproof.

Shine a laser image on the road ahead, so drivers know you're coming. Even when in the blind spot.
